Well, the Canadian Grand Prix is up this weekend.
Can Hamilton build on his Monaco win and repeat in Montreal, a track he has won on 4 previous occasions?
Can Rosberg fight back and regain the momentum?
Can Ricciardo end his teams run of screwups and grab the top step on the podium?
or....
Will the famous "Wall of Champions" claim another front-runner?

Yes he can at a circuit he clearly likes.

Quoting photopilot (Thread starter):
Can Rosberg fight back and regain the momentum?

IMHO, no. He made hay while the sun shone, payback was a big bitch in Monaco.

Quoting photopilot (Thread starter):
Can Ricciardo end his teams run of screwups and grab the top step on the podium?

Not sure. A lot may depend on tyre choices. I think the Mercs will be too strong here.

Not this time.

One unasked question - will Ferrari turn up?

Well Ferrari will always receive a warm welcome in Montreal and have strong fan support based on the memory of Quebec native son Gilles Villeneuve.
Whether Ferrari is up to the challenge, or updates bring enough performance increase to close the gap to the frontrunners, only time will tell.
The weekend's long range weather forecast looks great with daily high temps of 19C Saturday and 21C Sunday. However that also makes me wonder whether Ferrari will be able to turn on the tires and get enough heat into them to achieve good grip. Something Ferrari has struggled with all season.

And like every other Canadian, I still remember Gilles and his wonderful first victory on the circuit that now bears his name. I was also very fortunate that at that time my employment put me trackside on that cold September day to photograph his first win.
For history's sake.....

Well, there are five world champions on the grid, so there's a 5 in 22 chance of a champion hitting the wall

Looking forward to this. Should be a good track for Williams, unlike Monaco.

It will be interesting to see how the Renault engine will perform. Obviously Monaco wasn't the track that allowed to show its full potential. We'll see in Montreal whether the progress is real or not.

Montreal is my home, and for some three years the Gilles Villeneuve track was my backyard. I used to live just across the canal. It's a great place for running and cycling!

Unfortunately, I won't attend the GP this year. I'm flying to France to attend the 24 Hours of Le Mans

Ahhhh..... this is brilliant.

It’s been said that Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo is a model Formula One driver, so Red Bull have taken that literally in this miniature guide to the Canadian Grand Prix.

Using Carrera slot cars and tracks, plus detailed diorama and models, RedBull.com has put together this guide to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, home of the Canadian Grand Prix.
