It's a very bad move in my opinion, but the people has decided, and very smart is the man who can prove that's a good or a bad move.
The future will (probably) answer ...

Yes, it's a very bad move. It could be the end of EU in a long term perspective, but I hope it isn't. I really think the UK will regret its decision in a few years. EU is becoming weaker in the global world and less significant politically and financially. It's a very short term solution for the UK. And now the UK itself might get divided forever.

1. Probably will take 5 years for all the agreements to be ironed out. Who knows what will change in the UK or EU in that period?
2. UK will restrict residency from some but maybe not all other EU nations, but travel remain visa-free. Likewise Spain will probably allow the ex-pats to stay.
3. Trade will remain the same as now, neither side can afford a disruption in trade. However, going forward the less-integrated UK will not receive as much attention/investment from the EU and likewise the UK will not invest and focus so much on the EU.
4. UK gets closer to the USA in trade, politics, mindset.

The term is two years maximum. Whatever consensus isn´t reached by that time, the UK has to do without until on is reached. For example, if they don´t agree to free movement of people by that time, their access to EU markets with just evaporate at that time.

From a project meeting yesterday from the customer: "If they vote out today, competitor X will be dropped and not be considered for the tender". Project runs well beyond the two years boarder line. Long term cross channel trade will suffer a lot until the post-EU trade rules are agreed upon and ink is on paper.

i don´t think they will get guns for everyone laws or bring death penalty back.

Oh what a beautiful thing to wake up into a day where Brexit is not a dream but a reality, I had already lost hope after some inaccurate polls. And it's midsummer here, so I will have plenty of drunkard company to celebrate with!
