Eleven Hours to make a cup of tea (using Wi-Fi)

Wed Oct 12, 2016 3:25 am

Well I guess you can give it to the man for his persistence.

A man in England spent eleven hours trying to get his kettle to boil some water to make a cup of tea. Instead of using a normal kettle, he decided Wi-Fi was the way to go. Trouble is the base station and the kettle weren't on speaking terms ...

As if that wasn't bad enough, he then had to eat his dinner in the dark while the lights downloaded a software update.

Some of the comments are funny. I like the question why didn't he just use a Samsung 7 .

A bloke with a Hadoop cluster in his garage is definitely a big-time boffin.
Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world
The heart has its beaches, its homeland and thoughts of its own
Wake now, discover that you are the song that the morning brings
The heart has its seasons, its evenings and songs of its own

Funny, when I put the kettle on in the morning it feels like 11 hours
