Big protest in Saudi Arabia: 11 arrested

Saudi officials have arrested 11 princes for staging a protest against the kingdom's austerity measures, according to a report from the Saudi news website Sabq....................

....................Saudi Arabia recently introduced a raft of economic reforms, including a value-added tax (VAT) and a halt to state payments of water and electricity bills for royal family members.

Somehow I don't think princes losing their allowances falls under the Arab Spring.

Looks like the Saudi free ride is starting to end, and it is going to cause some issues. Not sure why you go to Max Security for protesting though.
