Local discounter Hofer (better known as Aldi in the rest of the world) has launched its own joke airline today. Meet HOFAIR: https://www.facebook.com/HOFER.AT/videos/vb.216503361776825/1632619973498483/?type=2&theater

I’m shocked by no big 747-8i order announcements!

Who would be silliest or most probable?

Least: SPIRT
Maybe: United or BA

I think it was USA Today that did one years ago about Delta moving its main hub to CHA (Chattanooga, TN).

This reminds me of the A-net members who argue about subsidizing other people's luggage by having bundled fares when they never carry luggage.
"I never use the restrooms on board, why should I pay for the cost of others doing their business? I'd say bring on the unbundled fares! It'll allow airlines more space for seats and reduce costs for the passengers!"

Not aviation.....but still travel related was that Belarus was expelling Russian diplomats from their country. With the fact that US is kicking them out, and that Russia is involved in a war in Eastern Ukraine, it doesn't come as that far-fetched.....but absolutely false.

Or the people that bought a business class ticket, just for the seat......"I had business to do before boarding, and went late in the process....can't eat the food due to religious reasons....can't have the liquor since I am taking medication....didn't see any of the movies, and just slept.......so, don't I get a refund for the food, early boarding, movies, the six Scotch and sodas normal people would have? All I wanted to do is lie flat and sleep."
