Very unfortunate given what Allegiant has been dealing with lately in the media. The driver is the son of Allegiant's CEO, Maurice Gallagher. It was the first win for the team.

Driver Spencer Gallagher has been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR for violating the sanctioning body’s substance abuse policy, NASCAR announced Wednesday.

Gallagher issued the following statement after news of his suspension was announced: “I recently have had a positive result in a NASCAR drug screen, which has violated NASCAR’s substance abuse policy. I want to assure everyone in the NASCAR community this one-time error in judgement will never happen again."

Hilarious part is in victory lane he said he’s going to “party like it’s 1999”. Mission accomplished.

French driver Franck Montagny lost his career after he tested positive for cocaine. He wasn't trying to cheat, he was a notorious party goer...

Hmmmm, interesting last name he has. Wonder how he came to be sponsored by G4.

Second sentence of the OP says that it's the CEO's son.

Not only that, Maury also owns the team (GMS Racing) and sponsors the car (through Allegiant).

Should be noted that it's not known when the positive test occurred. Most likely it occurred before his win last weekend. Spencer has agreed to partake in NASCAR's "Road to Recovery" program and could be back racing in as little as four weeks, though he'll no longer be eligible for the championship.
