It's not a location, it is a person and an environment that encourages hostility instead of trying to work together to get something done. There is an old adage "if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything". While not advice to be followed hard and fast, it is a good rule of thumb to start from. And if you do have something to say, be calm and constructive if at all possible.
This guy was a moron and is getting blasted publicly for his ill-considered outburst. He has been identified and is suffering the consequence of the unwanted public attention that he brought upon himself.

Honestly there is no way to judge someone by the school they attended. Looking at Haverford, while a typical high cost private school they also have a significant outreach program to support low income and disadvantaged students. And that is a good thing to support. The problem is this gut didn't learn that lesson.

Isn't there a racist high up in government right now from NYC? Someone who called neo Nazis and KKK marchers fine people? Build a wall? Name slips my mind at the moment.....

There are lots of racists in the government at every level from all across the nation.
tRump, Waters, Sessions, etc.

"Both sides do it, so Republicans get a pass" is BS. I assume you are naming Maxine Waters, so, tell me, what racist things has she said? Word-for-word quotes, please.

Nah, there's a ton of racists down here. Probably more than there in the north. What I mean is there's a lot of them up there too.

Racism is bad on all sides. I'm not defending any racists whoever they may be. Where have I defended racism at any point?

When you say "but both sides do it" that is the same thing as saying "this is how I justify supporting my racism and my racist representatives" instead of saying "this is not good for the nation, so let's support people who are not like this." When you say "both sides do it" you are enabling them.
Keeping that in mind, prove to me that Waters is as racist as this guy in the restaurant or the Starbucks baristas in Philadelphia or the woman in Oakland.

For eight years, we heard from a specific "most watched" infotainment channel how Obama is evil incarnate because he played golf or had Dijon mustard or signed a peace treaty with Iran. Why can't a similar infotainment network show acts of blatant racism now that an actual fool is in charge?

They can but if they do they cannot then claim hold themselves to a "higher standard" than Fox News. All news channels are full of partisan garbage. Nobody should watch any of them.

"One side did it and I stayed silent because reasons but, now that the other side is doing it, I am outraged." That is what you are saying. Many of us have been trying to tell the rest of you that this "fair and balanced" channel is anything but. They are partisan as they come. But, all we heard is "but, but, but.... They counter the 'liberal' media so they are better!" but, no. They are partisan. They are not to be trusted as a source. We have been telling you all that for years. Decades. If you just now are outraged over CNN for doing EXACTLY what Fox has done but not outraged at Fox all those years, your argument is invalid.

Racists are pretty much everywhere anyway. The general consensus is that Southerner are just more "open" about their racism, while non-Southerner racists act all friendly but then say all these racist stuff behind that person's back. And it's not like this is the first incidents of these type that happened in NYC anyway (not saying all NYers are bad, as you can tell from those people responding to the tirades by laughing at how ignorant and how much of a fool the "lawyer" makes himself looks like).
BTW...

(I don't like to wish bad on people, even a racist lawyer, but still can't help but laugh)

It's just like in another thread where you implied someone's father was only in the army for 2 years because he might haven't gotten kicked out. When I told you the real reason, you ignored it. Go back under the bridge!
"Your staff is speaking Spanish to customers when they should be speaking English," the man say. "My guess is they're not documented. So my next call is to ICE to have each one of them kicked out of my country," he says.
"If they have the balls to come here and live off my money, I pay for their welfare. I pay for their ability to be here. The least they can do ... is speak English."

Even the most basic logic would suggest that since the people he was cursing at are gainfully employed, literally in their workplace, that they're not on welfare.
Reminds me of those protests to increase the minimum wage, where the far right wingers came along and started jeering "get a job" etc.

Racists everywhere. Probably more concentrated in cities, lol.
In all seriousness though, the guy's either an asshole (not a long shot for NYC) or has some serious psychological issues and seems like he's on the verge of a mental breakdown. I miss the days when things like this didn't make the front page news, when there was 'news news' on the news.
