Poinciana Boulevard in southern Orlando. Nothing particularly special about it, except my first trip to the US involved a hotel down there. Just a few tens of metres down from the junction with highway 192. I was all of 14 years old.

I'm just being sickeningly sentimental.

is one that is at least 4 lanes wide, with a treed median and is lined with trees. The homes on either side should be set back to allow said trees to grow uninhibited, with wide sidewalks that allow leisurely walking and vigorous running without said runners and walkers having to alter their respective paths.
When seconds count...the authorities are minutes away.
Unless it's expressly prohibited, it's allowed.

Is lined with book shops, grocery or other stores and cafés, like the Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris.

Boulevard Richard Lenoir, Paris; it is absolutely perfect. Nice and wide, tree-lined with mature trees, has a narrow park down the middle that separates each direction of traffic. Lots of fountains in the park. It looks really cool when lit up at night also.

The Boulevard of Broken Dreams.
You know all is right is the world when the only thing people worry about is if the president had sex with a pornstar.

And you get riot police and demonstrations every other week, very entertaining (I used to live there).
