The correct A.net Sitcom is

... Wings. Although there are not enough flight scenes.

I can't believe that we haven't discussed this before.

Passed through the A.net correctness filter, agreed.

With the filter removed, it's a toss-up: Either My Name Is Earl or Reno 911. Friends abroad, particularly in the UK and Ireland, have told me they've gotten their ideas of what everyday life in the US is like from watching our exported TV shows, sitcoms in particular. To this I respond that if they want to know what life is really like in most of the US, then My Name Is Earl, Reno 911, and the original series of Roseanne are the shows they need to watch.

I think if beings from another planetary body ever visit us they will have used our broadcasts to learn our languages and our mannerisms. This will either deter them from visiting, or give them some really weird ideas about our planet.

Like, animals can talk kind of stuff.

Not Married With Children?

I considered the Bundys, but rejected them when it occurred to me that if you changed the location of Married With Children from a suburban house in Chicago to a council house in Birmingham or Leeds (the cities in England, not the ones in central Alabama) every script still worked just as well if not better… sort of a darker version of Good Neighbors/The Goode Life, right down to the pretentious Yuppie couple next door. Al, Peg, and Kelli have a lot more in common with Onslow, Daisy, and Rose from Keeping Up Appearances than they do with Dan, Roseanne, and Becky.

Father Ted.

Though, as a non-practicing Catholic with relatives serving as clergy, it's more of a documentary than a sitcom!

Would you rather read 200+ Trump threads?

In any case, you're wrong - the answer is obviously viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1344405

No, but I don't see what that has to do with these "correct threads"

I just get the "correct" part

Oh, that thread you posted is way tl;dr, is there a part where it gets really funny? I read a part of the first post then scrolled down and wasn't really into it

Hey guys,
Being Australian, I guess the correct 'sitcom' is Neighbours. I probably should say Home and Away as well, but I have never ever watched that show, unlike Kylie-era Neighbours!
Cheers,
