To all my brothers and sisters in this one great United Kingdom, I hope you all enjoy and savour your last ever Christmas whilst we are still in the European Union. This time next year we won’t have turkeys, crisps, mars bars, drinking water, medication or Brussels sprouts.

Merry christmas and happy new year as we forge our new path and reassert ourselves and rejoin the global community whilst taking back control, enjoying freedom and our sovereignty.

Shame it's not gonna be a white holiday in the area, though it will be cold. I'm headed to Seattle tomorrow and it'll be a gray, wet holiday.

Actually it will be a sunny day here tomorrow - on Wednesday you'll get our stereotypical wet, gray winter day. So you'll just have to be patient

Well, I'm flying in tomorrow so it doesn't really count as a day. Odds are by the time I step out the plane it will be dark.

You are wrong though. It is not political correct to call it holidays because not all call it Christmas even if we have celebrations during the same days. Calling it holidays is simply being respectful to those who have other traditions than you.
Nothing wrong with being respectful. Btw it's Jul not Christmas.

And besides holidays can also mean that one includes new year as well.

Being Scandinavian I celebrated yesterday (the 24th), and had a lovely day with wonderful Christmas weather. 5-10 cm of snow and the temperature never went above -10°C.

I hope you all have a nice Christmas whenever and however you celebrate it. God jul!

Which is what political correctness is. Being respectful, inclusive and not daring to offend anyone. Not that a post that says “Merry Christmas” posted on Christmas Eve should offend anyone, but it is politically correct today to compete with what we pretend to find offensive.

I rode about 85km yesterday afternoon in some spare time I had and the temperatures I recorded were average 34ºC and maximum 41ºC. Today maxed out at 35ºC, hot yes, but not roasting hot as yesterday.

My Christmas present to myself is to finish off with 17,500km of riding on a bicycle for the year. I'm at 17,230km at the moment. Getting plenty of time riding with friends.

A very Merry Christnmas and a Happy New Year to everone on this site! No white Chrismas here either, just ;two minutes of snow on Chrismas Eve which didn't even settle. I think we're in for a blast early in 2019 which will be something to look forward to.

I wouldn’t mind a few days of cold after it being above 25 degrees C every day since Christmas. It’s supposed to be 35-40 degrees tomorrow and I’m not all that enthusiastic about it.
