Every new country I visit is something else checked off. Looks like I'm going to check off ten new countries in the next few months. Exciting times.

Lucky you.
Every Country I visit what I see are, in order:
- airport
- taxi
- some corporate offices
- some restaurant
- some business hotel
- airport
but if I'm lucky enough I can see something from the taxi.
Aeroplane flies high
Turns left, looks right

You’re joking, every living A.net member (and past) has been on at least one 777 ride...right?

I mean they should cancel any member who hasn’t.

I know, been trying to get on that type forever. I haven't gotten out of the country in a while and am spending too much time on a 739. At this rate I will get on a dreamliner before a 777.

Surely UA has put a 777 in from DEN in all this years (holidays?), that'd be an easy fix and worth the ride if only to reboard and come right back after the cleaning crew tidy's up.

Last year we did Rwanda and Uganda and saw the mountain gorillas. That was a big deal for us. Put a big dent in our finances as well.

Visit Antarctica.

Entertain two girls at the same time. Have recently been told by the girl I’m seeing that she is up for it so that’s promising...

Yeah, I know.

But for a 777 sake of a ride, it’s gotta be the best option for a quick ride given their two hubs closest to LAS, DEN & SFO...but, yeah given UA’s suckage factor...Greyhound may be less torturous.

Or a real trip...BA ( ) 777 to LHR/LGW...that might be on the FDS.

Europe in 9 days ending in Fresno...boy that sounds like a Twilight Zone episode if there ever was one.

We drove from Malabu to LAX a few years back. It was nice but so many cars. That is why it is slow. CA-! from Malabu to Santa Monica was crowded and everyone was merging like people should but this one guy was a jerk about the whole thing. Other than that, it was nice. I would love to do Pacific Highway from San Ysidro to Lost Coast in a VW Bus. That would be a great trip.

*Flew on the Concorde
*Piloted a Boeing Stearman
*Drove a Porsche 911 at the Nordschleife
*Went skiing on desert dunes (Dubai)
*Joined the mile-high club (not the Denver edition)
*Stood at Maho beach for a KLM 747 landing & departure
*Been to 4 out of 6 'must visit cities' (London, Paris, Rome & New York - Tokyo & Rio still missing)
*Went skiing on a glacier (Kaprun, Austria)
*Saw the Big 5 in their natural habitat (in Zimbabwe)
*Having a shower at 40.000ft (EK A380 first class DXB-MUC)
*Eating at a 1, 2 and 3 star Michelin restaurant (Kokkeriet, NOMA & Geranium - all in Copenhagen)
*Been to a F1 (6 times) and Le Mans race (3 times)
*Drove a snow scooter (Val Thorens, France)
*Seen the Northern Lights (many times flying across the Atlantic, once in Bergen, Norway)
*Smoked a huge spliff in Amsterdam
*Louvre (Paris), Van Gogh (Amsterdam), Tate Modern (London) & Guggenheim (New York)
*Been to the top of the Empire State Building at night

Still have a long list of stuff to do ahead of me before kicking the bucket, top of which are visiting Tokyo and Rio and driving coast-to-coast in the US. One thing I'll never accomplish, however, is flying the IGS approach to Kai Tek.

Best Bucket List achievement? Sitting in the jumpiest of a CX 744 a month before the new airport opened - and it was a night landing!

In terms of places to visit I've done well enough that there is no addition I'd spend money on. Maybe a short cruise to Cuba because I was a Freshman in university when we had the Cuban Missile Crisis.

After 4 cancer surgery my current bucket list is to see my wonderful grandson and granddaughter graduate high school, then university, then marriage and at least one great grandchild. Maybe I should move some of my Bucket List money to the grandkids for their education.
