Based on what exactly there, Chief? The trickling information flow of your parable?

Based on your whinging, whining posts as a victim of the Boomer Generation. You all think nobody had a hard time starting out in life. The Greatest Generation told us the same things you’re whining about.

Um OK that’s random. But we’ll chalk your experience up to being all about “good negotiating skills.”

So Bank of America says it will make 5 billion in loans available to low and moderate income borrowers.. On the face of it this screams lets not go through this again. Did we not learn any lessons from the 2008 financial meltdown?

Probably not, but there's nothing wrong with making loans to low income borrowers. Making loans to anything with a pulse with zero due diligence, however, was a far bigger problem, but I'm sure there's some Trump appointee that thinks credit checks are #jobkillers and is salivating at the chance to crash the whole thing again.

They said that about Generation X in 1991.

(maybe Google the word "first")

Well Airstud a couple of things.

(1) The point is not when it was first stated or whether it will actually be the case

(2) That has yet to be borne out

(3) That statement was made during a recession ... these statements are being made at what is probably the height of the economic cycle

So methinks it’s a bit different.

So does the credit rating industry. Pay the credit cards off 100% and your score goes down. Last I looked, ~17% balance was the ideal.

Make it rain, GF (guhrlfriend?), make it rain!

And, while you’re at it, you should reach out to poor mham and help him with his credit issues.

In the 4 weeks and 400 posts since you've arrived, you have shown a heavy want/need to mock other users with whom you disagree, either with names or general degradation. Who are you, why don't you tell us about yourself? Who's fake noob are you, or who are you working for here?

Mham, I have never carried a balance. My credit score is just fine and I had zero issues getting a mortgage.

That said you are right, you do get penalized but not into “uncreditworthy” territory.

I’m sorry, what? Very conspiracy-y, but it tends to correlate very closely with one “side” of political views.

Let me tell you as well, mham, in my short time on here I wouldn’t exactly say you’re known for your bedside manner.

But keep on counting ... after 4 weeks is 5. One day I may even get to 1,000 posts, Inshallah.
