Quite amazingly, Barcelona did the same last year, in the quarter final against AS Roma, 4-1 home, return 3-0 and they were out.

Well like most here I am shocked, I didn't expect Barca to do that 2 years running, but wow, way to go Liverpool.

Funny enough, the German "Sportschau" (one of the most important sports and, more specifically, football prime time TV programs) posted a meme on their facebook page along the lines of:

There are more than a few. Robertson, Alexander-Arnold, Milner, Henderson, Sturridge, Gomez, Lallana, Oxlade-Chamberlain for Liverpool, Dier, Alli, Kane, Trippier, Rose, Winks for Spurs. 4-5 players from the same country is about the norm for a starting XI for top European clubs.

Europa League final is a joke.
Arsenal and Chelsea fans only given 6,000 tickets each in a 60,000 Stadium in Baku.
Move it to Wembley and give true fans 45,000 tickets to each team.

Purely in the name of reducing global warming, finals should be played somewhere closer to home in these cases.
There might be an argument that Wembley favors a London team, so perhaps Paris would be a sensible neutral venue.
Likewise if two Spanish teams were in the final, Lisbon might be appropriate.
Baku should be first reserve for the next time two teams from opposite ends of Europe end up together; say Spartak Moscow and Roma. Then, with everybody required to travel some distance (probably by air), Baku becomes as good an option as any other.
