Second Choice would be Tulsi Gabbard. I think she is a democrat who can bring both sides together.
That being said, if it was those two on the November ballot, I would be tempted to write in Nikki Haley.

I still think Trump is going to toss Pence to the curb and ask Haley to be his running mate for 2020.

Pence might get tossed to the curb, but no way would Nikki Haley accepted the position as Vice-President. Why would she take a pay cut (she got a couple of Board of Director positions) and risk having her reputation tarnished?

The only thing I don't agree with her on is her stance against the TPP, but at that point I'd vote for Congressmen who line up with her bit still favor the TPP. Personally I'm for the TPP as long as China is out of it.
Plus shes hot.

Assuming Pence and Trump get along, Pence might realize Trump needs both women and evangelicals so he announces God revealed to him he should be Secretary of State instead and Trump agreed to that and all three will make up his senior administration.

So is Harris.

If being SOS (and under Trump) got her high paying positions which it likely did, why do you think having VP on her resume too would make that less likely in the future? If anything it makes her more in demand.

Nicki Haley wasn't SOS. She was the United States Ambassador to the United Nations.

You have to vote for someone other than Trump or Biden. You can't sit it out. Who do you vote for and why?
I think I have to go with Booker. The others are just too extreme and I think if he got into power he would at least try to govern with the other side somewhat. I would also vote for Schwartz if he got on the ticket.

The only reason I would agree with this statement is just because compared to Trump, a Nikki Haley presidency would be a return to normalcy. She governed a red state but doesn't pander to evangelicals or gun nuts to win. Her credentials speak for themselves. There's a reason she was one of the few folks to be unanimously confirmed to a position.

Only problem is...FAT Donny's innate fear of being upstaged. He'd count how many news clips featuring her vs him..and go bonkers each time she out performs.
Also if she sounds too smart...he'll probably toss Pence and pluck Lindsey.
As for my choice,
Kamala Harris + Eric Swallwell vv

Just a quick reminder, this one can't happen because both of them are from the same state.
