World's eighth lava lake discovered

Fri Jul 05, 2019 9:47 am

See, there is a lake o' lava down there in the Southern Hemisphere.

Apparently there are others in the world.

I'm not sure I approve of this. :scared:

Cool!

Idle Curiosity: Although I'm fairly sure the answer to this would make my head hurt, I wonder how Flat Earthers explain volcanos?

The heat created by friction from the disk earth moving thru space melts the rocks... or the Lizardmen underground trying to kill us....or maybe the weight of the disk earth compresses the lower levels turning them to a nice warm gooey layer of lava much like the creme in a donut that then is squeezed out.

But which is the correct one to walk around?
I'm watching Jeopardy. The category is worst Madonna songs. "This one from 1987 is terrible".

If these people believe the Earth is flat, they also likely believe that everything else revolves around it.

Hence, because Earth is the center of everything, WE aren't moving through space.

That being said, from a Flat Earther perspective (likely to disapprove of science overall): volcanoes are merely the gateways to Hell. Eruptions are caused by the need to wipe out evil and warn people of the power a deity has over us.
