ADAM Lookout Success

Wed Aug 14, 2019 12:02 am

Has the ADAM Lookout attraction on the top floor of an old office building in Amsterdam become a major tourist attraction for Amsterdam yet along the lines of the city's canals, Rembrandt House Museum, Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank House, and the red light district. I also understand that the ADAM Lookout has a swing attraction that extends over the edge of the building.

I was in AMS for a few days back in June and never heard of it so I guess the answer is--NO.

Over the Edge swing, haven't done it, but it should be quite an astonishing experience, dangling 50 floors up or so.

its location isn't ideal, it is on the other side of 'IJ, opposite of the historic city center.

BTW it is A'dam tower, A'dam is short for Amsterdam ;-)
Many happy landings, greetings from The Netherlands!

It is actually 22 floors high and how popular of a tourist attraction has the ADAM Lookout become.

When we go someplace new, we always flip through the phone book or the rack of brochures in the hotel lobby. We have found many amazing adventures doing that. This seems like one of those things.

Does the top rotate? It looks like it might but that would be a crazy engineering feat. That would make the swing even wilder!
You bet I'm pumped!!! I just had a green tea!!!

The top does not rotate.
