North Korea just launched a SLBM

Wed Oct 02, 2019 8:45 pm

North Korea fires ballistic missile, possibly from submarine, days before talks.

Trump is leaving this mess for his successor to deal with after he leaves office.
Just as he is leaving the cleanup of relations with Russia, the Philippines and MbS to the next guy.

Tell me again, why do "conservatives" support him?

No...Kim writes him beautiful letters. It's the fake news. Kim denied it very strongly!

How is it that conservatives can accept this?
All through the 60s, 70s, 80s 90s,oughts and up until 2017 the conservatives ahd a chip on their shoulder over Korea, they were furious that each administration was so slack about punishing them.

Now all at once it's "beautiful letters" and everyone is OK with it.

Because they don’t really care. It’s all about the bully/punk aspect they like. It’s “owning the libs.” It’s the blatant racism et al. they’ve always wanted to vomit up.

I would qualify this somewhat to say there are conservatives who are horrified about all this. Then there are the ones represented on many a forum who are super excited to exhibit their inner pathology to the world.

It is reported that it was launched from a underwater platform not a sub, but is designed for use in a sub. Either way it steps up the pressure ahead of any talks.
