Lunch on a A350 prototype

Thu Oct 17, 2019 11:01 am

Not sure if this is the right forum for it, but having lunch onboard an A350 under construction is pretty unique.

Actually its one of the prototype frames used for testing. I think that this is the same frame that will be displayed at Aeroscopia Museum.

Wouldn't that particular frame be the first new-build Bundesrepublik A359 state transport :?:

It's the MSN 3, now used for operator training (Flight Test Campus).

A350 MNS3, the test aircraft which was to be dismantled was finally used by the flight tests teams to train their maintenance teams and improve the speed and efficiency of future flight test campaigns.

Dining inside a production aircraft would be a really bad message given the efforts deployed against the FOD.

Plotting a way to subsidize the next plane without running afoul of WTO regulations.

On a totally unrelated note, Airbus provided the catering, through a new subsidiary. $900 for a steak and $100 for a bottle of water.
Read this very carefully, I shall write this only once!

Maybe Boeing can take some notes here on how to remove loose metal objects

Well not really a "fan" here - but I think it is obvious she's listening closely to the interpreter/translator...
