I am thinking about residing in Miami Beach. It is a beautiful location. Does anyone here like Miami Beach? of the Future

Great place, but found it to have a rather urban vibe instead of a beach town. I felt like I was in a downtown while I was there so it's not for me, but looks/scenery wise it's a 10/10. You'll have a great time. Have you looked at other places in the area too like FLL?

Love how every "travel blogger" says they will never fly AA/Ethihad again and then says it again and again on subsequent flights.

Nice to visit, not so nice to live in. Depends where you want to settle. South Beach is the trendy, eclectic locale. Plenty of night life, always something going on. The middle beach has a more quiet air to it, and north beach is zzzzzzzzz. The actual city ends on the Northern end at 88 Street, and then you have little towns like Surfside and Bal Barbor.

You may want to look at Wynwood section of Miami. Getting nicer by the day.

It entirely depends on what environment you're looking much, as IMHO, a beach is a beach. SoBe is very built-up. The beach is lined with a lot of high end hotels and condos that tend to feature large numbers of party-going folks--put another way, it's loud. As in any developed area parking can be a challenge. If you like the more socially engaged scene then SoBe might be for you. If that isn't your think, as mentioned look a little further north.

I live in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale metro area and I like to visit Miami Beach as there are a lot of things to do in the area. If you decide to live in Miami Beach make sure that you choose a safe neighborhood as there are some parts of MB that have high crime rates. There are many cool areas in South Florida to live in so you will need to find the one that best fits your personal and professional life.
