Conditions for Migrant Workers in Dubai
What exactly are conditions actually like for migrant workers in Dubai, because I have heard stories that they are horrible with slave like conditions.

Define "migrant" - the question is unanswerable when it hinges on a word that's used for everything from skilled workers on sponsored work permits to manual labourers jumping the fence in the hope of a better life.

Every single person doing an honest day's work in Dubai is a migrant. Some are making millions move numbers around on a spreadsheet, some are making very little doing hard labour, 12 hours a day, in what can be best described as a sunbaked sauna. For the former life is pretty good, for the latter life is horrible, but somewhat less horrible than being unemployed at home.
