Saw it tonight. Loved it. By far, the strongest and best of the new trilogy. Easily the 4th best of the Skywalker Saga (after the Episodes 4 to 6). And the proper send off for Carrie Fischer was as emotional as it gets, at least for those old enough to have grown up with Star Wars.

Consistency is not a strong point for Star Wars anyway, I mean the prequel ships look way more advanced than the ones in the original trilogy.

During the last battle, there should be tens of thousands, even millions of Tie fighters, but there are only a few.

And yeah, who were all those people gathered in the flying black building ?

Nonetheless, I was entertained.

While they’ve built that giant fleet, I’m doubting they have it all too well staffed. That might explain the lack of tie fighters.

Did you watch it in French or English? I wasn´t very attentive, but i understood him to be reanimated somehow.

especially considering how fast travel has become and how large the empire is millions is probably on the money for a smaller skirmish.

The fact that that fleet exists is basically a Clerks discussion all over again. SOMEONE would have noticed all that happening.

In English with French subs (best we can get in France).

I found this on the web : "Beaumont Kin, the late-arriving Resistance fighter played by Dominic Monaghan, lays out a few possibilities: “Dark science. Cloning. Secrets only the Sith knew.”"
