A few years ago I started drawing and writing my own cartoon. I didn't see anyone lampooning the airline industry properly, so I figured, what the hell, I'll start my own cartoon. I post a new comic every Monday morning. Yes, I'm a pilot with a "legacy" airline and after witnessing all the various aspects of working within training departments, safety, ALPA, committees, suffering through mergers and bankruptcies, and flying the line for the last 18 years it was time.

Welcome and I also hope you continue to enjoy drawing the cartoons. I am sure they fit the job and conditions in your chosen profession. We had guys in my profession who were cartoonists also.

Thanks, it's took some darn near pleading on my part but the moderators allowed me to post my cartoon here, so I'm humbled and grateful to them. And thanks to all of you for welcoming me.

Yes, the airline culture of Boomers, Gen X'ers and Millennials is a wonderful milieu of angst, entitlement, superiority complex and assumption, but I guess that can be said of corporate culture, military and academia. Good times.

As a professional who makes his living flying an Airbus around the country for a "legacy", it's a mixed blessing to put it diplomatically. I'm spending more time at home than I ever have but under the anxiety of the future. My wife and kids are safe and our food and paper stores are stocked. Hope ya'll are safe out there too.
