A police chase that ended on the Kansas City Royals Super Bowl parade route last week led to the arrest of two suspects. The chase ended when several units were dispatched and one police car used the pit manouver to end the chase. After the chase entered the parade route, all officers along the route were notified and stop stocks were used to try and stop the chase, which the car hit. Afterwards, the car continued along the route toward a crowd of spectators anticipating the chase and that is when the PIT maneuver was used. It was a very unusual situation that sure was a sight to see, but thankfully no one was hurt.

KC Chiefs. Royals are baseball. Chiefs are football.

Scary for those along the route, I am sure!

Do we need to have a thread about every small thing that happens in the world? They're a welcome change to the usual political threads, but sometimes they're irrelevant. A landslide somewhere, a car chase elsewhere, a bus that catches fire...seriously?

Was it because the Chiefs were upset that the Royals were ruining their super bowl parade ?
