Has anyone got, what do you think of it, are they worth the effort?

That’d be some grill—burning whole pallets! Food grade pallets, too. Everybody I know who has a Trager loves it, easier than charcoal, more easily controlled.

I was thinking about it since Weber have started advertising there first pellet grill, reviews are pretty poor, grease fires, auger problems and other maladies, but it got me thinking, I do like smoking and cooking low and slow.

I think you and I are in sync because I was just about to open a thread on this. I'm in the market for a smoker. I've been told to get Green Mountain Grill (the Daniel Boone in particular), though it's too big. I'm torn between the Davy Crockett and a Masterbuilt.

Suggestions please!

I'm bowing out. Ended up getting a Davy Crockett smoker. Let's see what I can make this next weekend.

I have had a charcoal/chunk smoker (Weber smokey mountain), an electric smoker and now I also own a Green Mountain Daniel Boone Prime Wifi (pellet smoker).

The pellet smoker is incredible and gives me results just as good as charcoal/chunk. I still use the Weber as well, but my Boone is used multiple times a week and is my workhorse.
