That’s not what the article says.

The UAE supports Dahlan, who is an opponent of the current PA leadership. The article discusses the power struggles within the PA.

Trump White House senior adviser Jared Kushner and his deputy, Avi Berkowitz, were nominated on Sunday for the Nobel Peace Prize for their role in negotiating four normalization deals between Israel and Arab nations known as the “Abraham Accords.”

The US Press will not want this, as they see Peace as War, and War as Peace. So no Peace award for Trump, or his associates...

I forgot about the long, raging war between the UAE and Israel. Must be that peace agreement has wiped it from our minds.

I recommend reading about the nomination process. Assuming you know (or for that matter, bribe, as I'm sure happens to some degree) the right person, it's apparently pretty easy to get nominated. A nomination is magnitudes of significance from a win.

The pair were nominated by Dershowitz. A few fun notes on him: he's legally defended such know honorable people as Epstein, Weinstein, OJ Simpson, of course Trump, and like any good person, his Wikipedia includes a subsection titled "sex trafficking allegations"

For anyone involved in the "decent, civilized society" that he raves about so much, being associated with Dershowitz would be an embarrassment.

So Dahlan and the arabic countries that have his ear; What do they want to do? Create a one state solution?

It must be some strategic move here that I miss...

I have doubts about UAE would take this move without Dahlan and probably a major part of Palestinian people behind them. Am I wrong?

There are a very large number of people able to nominate a person for a Nobel Peace Prize. I would caution against getting too excited about it
