It could probably be faster but you have to remember there are much greater distances and numbers involved.

If even that was impossible, he will become unwell and leave in an ambulance.
It is not going to be like a drunk being thrown out of a bar.

Not saying it would not be funny.
Just not going to happen.

Question for those in the know on the US constitution: Is the day the electoral college votes set in stone or would any outstanding legal challenges to the results returned by the states delay the EC vote?

Or China? Oh, wait...

It’s unclear why the Trump campaign is holding a press conference at Four Seasons Total Landscaping in Philadelphia today, as the president announced this morning.
A Washington Post reporter could not reach anyone at the company for comment, but she did note that the Internet has started doing what it does best: trolling through online reviews.
To clarify, President Trump’s press conference will NOT be held at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia.
It will be held at Four Seasons Total Landscaping— no relation with the hotel.

I’ve arrived at Four Seasons Landscaping. It’s next to an adult book store called Fantasy Island.

CNN PROJECTION: JOE BIDEN WINS THE PRESIDENCY
Joe Biden will become the 46th president of the United States, CNN projects, after a victory in the state where he was born put him over the 270 electoral votes needed to win.
With Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes, Biden now has a total of 273 electoral votes.
Before becoming the Democratic presidential nominee, Biden served as vice president under former President Barack Obama. He is also Delaware's longest-serving senator.
Throughout his campaign, Biden has argued that the "soul of the nation" is at stake, and has promised that he would seek to heal a country fractured by Trump's presidency.
Joe Biden has won the presidency by clinching Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral votes, the AP has just announced.

Biden’s electoral vote count now stands at 284, surpassing the 270 needed to win the White House.
Donald Trump has been defeated, and Biden will become the 46th president of the United States in January.

What is the official confirmation - EC vote?

Much of the aparatus that let this happen will continue to exist, and it will be very hard for USA to get the reform, overhaul and restructuring it so badly needs. Although certain disaster is avoided for the time being, things need to happen if the US is going to stay a stable democracy, because the fundemental problem of inequality and religion dominating over science remains. Crossing my fingers! Congrats to the US!Aesma wrote:For anyone in doubt, Trump proving right now that he should have never been allowed in the GOP primary, never been elected, and never been allowed to stay in power that long. I expect this afternoon/early this evening Biden and Harris to give their victory speech, but one that will be tempered by the Pandemic, and the R's still controlling the Senate.

Yes, he’s still in office till January.

I think once it reaches the SCOTUS, Trump will be declared the winner.

Only Republican bitching and moaning - Biden can write as many as he wants. Of course, I'm sure many will be challenged in court, but the time for pussyfooting around is over. Get to work Biden!

Well he accomplished more in 4 years than Biden did in 47. That is for sure.
