Quotes of the Year

Thu Nov 19, 2020 2:14 pm

As we head towards the end of 2020, post your favourite quote of the year. I nominate the Tweet from the World Health Organisation in January: “Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China,”

Any other suggestions?

Anything said by Trump.

I'd start a list, but with so little time to run before Dec31st, I wouldn't be able to do him justice.
Nothing to see here; move along please.

I quite liked Jon Oliver's quote just before blowing up a massive effigy of 2020: "Let tomorrow be about solutions. Today is about vengeance." Like most of us, he was not a fan of 2020. :D

Not from Donald J Trump, but one I heard today from one of his supporters protesting outside a count centre: "The man is a genius. That's what the J stands for"
