Goodbye 2020... Happy New Year Y'all!

Fri Jan 01, 2021 8:30 am

Can't believe no one had started this yet.
This year it was more "goodbye" than normal instead of just welcoming the new year..

I have been telling people:
2020 pretty much sucked except for the friends and friendship.

Thanks everyone for the time and comments and sharing. Frustrating as some of it may have been.

Goodbye? More like good riddance! I can imagine very few people will look back on 2020 as anything positive overall.

Happy Year. Another trip around a calendar has begun.

With you on that and everyone's replies. But, three who probably had a great 2020...

  • Communist party/government of China

Here's to a much better 2021!

2020 was a tough hombre.

To be safe, got dressed up with Class 4 gloves, Class 4 clothing and EH boots.

Gave 2020 a blow to the head, a mighty shove and a kick in the backside and told it not to come back.

November 7th was the best day of 2020. At least for us in America.

I want to have at least a little hope that 2021 will be better, but I don't want to have expectations. Last year my hopes were high and I ended up pretty disappointed (though to be honest for me 2020 was only a slightly below average year) long before 2020 came to a close. Unfortunately all of the problems in 2020 will continue into the new year, so I'm having a wait and see attitude.

Officially one year of COVID. It’ll be June before there is any sense of normal. Bring on 22.
Funny. It only took one pandemic for those who argue endlessly about natural selection to stop believing in natural selection.
