Remember when it was DEMANDED of Muslims to apologize for 9/11? Ever single one or else they support it? Where is the apologies from Cruz or McConnell or Fox? They must support blatant racism, by their own standards.

This is totally in line with how pro-Asian protest reacted to people voicing concern against China's behavior on Uyghur as Racist, and also in line with how China protrayed the movement in Hong Kong as Racist by denying China from having total control on the city
It would also make it much harder for the United States to properly response to China diplomatically when their citizens echo the projection that China = Foreign Chinese Citizens, and would encourage overseas Chinese residents to more actively work with Chinese government and distance themselves from Western ideology
It would also increase the likelihood that politicians in America would make wrong judgement and target domestic Chinese population when conflict against China escalate, similar to how Japanese was treated in the WWII

As much as Trump didn't help things, a lot of the anti-Asian hate crimes we have seen lately have been perpetrated by nonwhite people (see the latest two examples in New York City). Can't blame Trump for everything.

Mrrrrm there were nonwhite fans of Trump’s rhetoric against ‘foreigners’ too.

There has also been nonwhite hate directed at Asians for years, long before Trump. Something tells me that the random black youth filmed beating up on Asians from coast to coast aren't all Trump fans.

Identifying them as supporting Trump or otherwise isn't going to help solve the problem. Even if you kill Trump it won't help change people's mindset

Beating up Asian people because the MAGA leader uses racial slurs does not help either. I think that is much more important.
