With the rise of social media in 2010s, just more and more these pre-social-network platforms being no longer possible to sustain themselves and see their user count decline, together with increased demand from everywhere around the world to monitor content on platforms, no matter for purpose of privacy, piracy, misinformation, politics, which come with costs that cannot be justified for such sort of simple platform, I guess it is just inevitable that they'll all be deleted from the internet.
