My wife and I both had Pfizer and, oddly enough, identical reactions. First dose, mild sore arm, a day of sleepies that kicked in a few hours after the dose. Second dose, nothing at all for maybe 12 hours, then 2 days of sleepies; no soreness.

Moderna in February.

1st shot. Slight soreness around injection site.

2nd shot. Fatigue and soreness of upper arm.

I've never before had a reaction from a vaccine. I'm glad I got Moderna. In DC you didn't have a choice Moderna/Pfizer. They didn't approve J&J at first. I know people in Virginia who got J&J. I bought the stocks of all of them, including Novavax.

Just an update for those that are vaccine hesitant. I had to go for a physical recently, and it had been awhile since i had gotten the TDAP(Tetanus-diphtheria). It was worse than the Pfizer covid by a long shot.

2 days of fatigue, elevated heart rate, chills.

Pfizer 1st dose last Friday morning, no issues Friday just minor arm tenderness, Saturday had a light headache, Sunday arm very sore on waking and sore but not as bad all day, also felt fairly tired all day. Monday still minor arm pain.

Probably the most reaction I've had to a vaccine, normally just a sore arm for a bit with flu or tetanus ones.

Got JJ Tuesday morning. Mild feeling like an onset cold ~12 hours later, somewhat fatigued over the next day. Injection spot not even sensitive or anything.

I got a first dose of AstraZeneca back in March and apart from a really sore arm, there were no other effects to report. I got my second dose of Pfizer yesterday morning (France has since banned AZ for under 55s, so they offered me an alternative for my second shot). The injection seemed to hurt a bit more, although that may be down to the person administering the vaccine. My arm is a lot less sore this time but I've been feeling pretty lethargic all day. Almost like a mild hangover... Hopefully I'll be back to normal tomorrow, I might take a couple paracetamol before bed.

Girlfriend and I got Pfizer dose #2 around 10am yesterday. I was fine until around 11pm when I developed mild chills and later on some night sweats. During the night a headache also started. Stayed home from work and currently still battling mild chills and soreness/tenderness over my body and a faint headache. But its not too bad overall.

Girlfriend on the other hand had a horrible night of body pain, chills, fever, etc... Still very lethargic and flu like, we are hoping she breaks out of it soon. She got hit hard!

Both of us had zero side effects on dose #1.

After doing my research online and reading news articles, and following the COVID threads on here as well as other forums, I decided to go for the first Pfizer shot this past Saturday evening.

Injection was painless, though I noted more tenderness in the shoulder area thereafter than I am used to when it comes to taking a yearly flu shot. I went to the gym the next day and was able to do a full-body workout, though I had to be careful with the cable chest press machine, as I initially hit the handle on the injected area in the shoulder and there was some pain that radiated, though it went away quickly.

When I removed the bandage before entering the gym, I noticed more dried blood had pooled on the gauze, including dark red blood, more than I've seen after a typical flu shot.

The tenderness was gone by the third day. Shot #2 is coming up in less than 3 weeks. I'll report on the effects at that time.

Male, mid 30s here.

Just had the J&J vaccine by actively applying for it as it is not available in the official vaccination program. By doing that, I had to consult a doctor who told me of the risks involved. Apparently around 20% don't "pass" the doctor consultation and will not be offered the J&J vaccine if their reason for applying for it is not what the doctor thinks is a valid reason. If I had waited for the pfizer shot, I would have had to wait till beginning of october before being fully vaccinated since I'm in the last group.

It's been over 24 hours and so far I haven't felt anything, at all.

My older child, < 15 years old, had no symptoms post 2nd dose. I keep looking at the vaccine card to verify she received a vaccine (Pfizer).

Ps, anyone getting vaccinated early is wise. I probably will never taste fat again because coronavirus took away that sensation. Bacon, cheese, and desert are off the menu now.

I got my first Pfizer jab about a week ago. No symptoms of any kind and will go back for the second in two weeks. Spain is catching up with record numbers getting the jab weekly and the numbers of new cases continue to drop.

My son (15) got his 2nd jab last Friday. A buddy of his got it on Saturday. We took them, plus one more, on vacation to KY Lake this week. Didn’t hear a single peep from either boy about any symptoms at all.

Both were Pfizer.

Got my first Moderna shot yesterday, just some light pain near the injection site. Less pain than what what I got from the TBE shot three weeks ago.

Got Pfizer on Saturday, no real problem. Went for a run afterwards . Just a little soreness in the muscle, but what do you expect if you got injected in there. Very efficient process, in and out in 20 minutes, including the 15minutes mandatory wait to see if it has an adverse effect on your health. Up for the second shot on July 17th. Can't wait to be protected with the vaccine.

got my first shot of Moderna on Monday. Some pain at the injection sight on Tuesday, gone on Wednesday. Bit of a headachse still going, but that might have a different cause.

First Pfizer on Monday; a sore arm and in the evening some mild flu-like symptoms and headache. Slept very wel and Tuesday morning only light soreness in the arm. Next shot in 5 weeks.

Got my J&J yesterday, feeling super fine

I had my first Pfizer dose on Tuesday, no side effects other than localised tenderness at the injection site. I did get a nasty headache the day after, but I already had headaches and sinus problems lingering on from an earlier flu, so I don't think it was related to the vaccine.

My mother also got vaccinated same day (also Pfizer) and no major side effects for her either. At the time AstraZeneca was recommended for her age group (50-60), but the vaccination clinic had a surplus of Pfizer on hand so she got Pfizer instead. Although two days later the official advice changed and now Pfizer is recommended for her age group.

I'm due for my second dose mid July, I arranged the appointment on the first day of a two break in case I get side effects.

At 32 I'm not supposed to be eligible* for a vaccine until at least October, but when I picked my mother up from a specialist appointment at the hospital they had a surplus of vaccines in the vaccination clinic so I was offered a vaccine.

* - I do have some indigenous heritage going back about four generations so technically I am in an eligible priority group but I didn't want to go down that route.

I've had my first and second doses of AZ.

1st Dose - slight tenderness around injection site.
2nd Dose - slight tenderness around injection site and numb arm for 12hrs

I got the Moderna shots. The first one, I had injection site pain for a day. The second shot, I got early in the morning and then went to work. I had some hot flashes and injection site pain. That night, I had a lump in my throat when I would lie down but I was fine sitting up. I also had messed up dreams. Nothing since.

Moderna vaccine for both of my shots. First shot was pain free, slight irritation around the injection site a few hours later, but not really noticeable. The morning after the second shot, I think I felt a little off, but wasn't sure due to the fact that I think I was supposed to feel that way, lol?! As the day went on, I did feel some more fatigue, and general blah. I would describe it like a mild hangover, and that is about it. The next day I was totally fine, I did not miss any work at all except for taking off the time during the day to get vaccinated, which the company allowed all of its employees to do.

Got my 2nd Moderna shot yesterday. First one seems to have given me a real stubborn cough on days 2 and 3 which I'm told is a good sign - systems recognize what I want to call, with probable incorrectness, a "pulmonary antigen."

These 23 hours later I am feeling kinda fatigued and feverish.

Got an irksome email from my sis (who fairly recently completed a political revamping and is currently farther right than I am ( ). I shared with her the assurance that Doc gave me here, about long-term safety:

"So much?" It was folly to listen to the WHO when they stupidly took China's word for it that the virus wasn't transmissible, and the CDC changed its mind about masks early on...

What else of the science has been shown to be "BS?"

Got my first pfizer last week. Administered by my wife of all things. Didn’t feel a thing. Not even the needle. The least eventful event of my life;-)

Got my 2nd Pfizer dose yesterday. Arm is quite sore and I am feeling a bit under the weather. Nothing severe though.

Update: the 2nd Moderna shot knocked me out; yesterday I was fatigued beyond belief, plus aching and fevered-like. Had to call in sick to work and everything.

Feeling much better now though.

I filled out the information on the VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) maintained by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and I encourage those living in the U.S. who reported their experiences on here to do the same.

Day 2 following the 2nd dose of the Pfizer shot. I've recovered from the symptoms I listed down without taking any medication. I removed the bandage this morning and was surprised to find no blood on the gauze of the bandage. Tenderness of the shoulder area has gone down, though some tenderness still remains.

Overall, the vaccination was comparable to others, with exception, it started early after 2 h (else it has started after around one day). I will call it "mild".
So the second one in 6 weeks.

I got my second Biontec/Pfizer shot on 18-Jun-2021. I have had little pain at the injection site for one day. So that was all. Regular it is said, the vaccination effect for Biontec/Pfizer is stronger for the second vaccination. In my case, it was neglible.

Here's my question. Not sure whom to ask next as our family doctor simply stated she was "unsure"... I had a reaction to a vaccine approximately 20-25 years ago, hives, rash. I was always advised I should refrain from getting any further immunizations. Have been told that the vaccines for Covid-19 are MRNA, that they are manufactured differently than the vaccine I had a while back. Would like to get vaccinated but am just unsure if it's safe to do so. And unsure who to speak to about it?

Got my second shot of Moderna on Monday. Medium pain on the arm at the injection site and a little head ache on Tuesday, both gone on Wednesday.

Three doses of Pfizer. A little arm soreness after dose number 1, had a fever and body aches for approximately 24 hours after dose #2, and had a fever once again and body aches after dose #3. I am around COVID patients quite frequently though so the vaccines were absolutely worth the mild side effects.

I had my booster shot 4 weeks ago and since then, I've had a flat tire and a bloody nose.

I got my Pfizer booster on Saturday. Same feeling of pain around the injection site that I had the first go-around back in March and April. This time was MUCH different.

I could not sleep well overnight, woke up every half hour or so, at one point was shaking so hard and had chills all over, woke up, took temperature, 101.4º F. I also had a really bad headache and was feeling weak all over. Breathing felt so fast that it got to the point where I needed to keep an eye on my pulse as much as possible, and put the Apple Watch on my arm at 4 am. Thankfully there were no high heart rate notifications. Much of Sunday was spent trying to reduce the fever, the temperature fluctuated all day from a low of 99.1º F to a high of 102.8º F.

I started Monday with a 99.8º F temperature, slept well the night before, but still have some arm pain and a slight headache.

I got my booster a few weeks ago. Moderna this time instead of my original dosage of Pfizer.
Got the flu shot the same day.

Day 2 was a chills, fever, and fatigue.
Day 3 I was fine.

I progressively started to experience chills, until it got real bad and walking outside in 30 degree F temperatures felt like a bad shock to me (heavy breathing and panting, hardly able to speak). The chills subsided once I was in 70 degree F+ temperatures. After work (and probably should have left home early that day), I went immediately to bed.

Next day (two days after booster), I woke up with a sweaty shirt and a thick "bump" sensation under my underarm, the same arm where the injection took place. When I went to research online, it appears that lymph nodes under the underarm can expand due to cold or flu. I've never had that happen with past cold or flu infections.

Got a second J&J felt ok the day of the jab the following day felt awful dizzy weak bad headache was told I was very pale next day was fine.

I got the booster 2 weeks ago, Pfizer, and my arm hurt for a day, maybe 36 hours. Nothing else.

Though, I get some pain right at the injection site every now and again…weird.

I got tinitus in the form of perceived loud zinging noise for 6 weeks after AZ 2nd dose. Had Moderna 3rd dose 5 weeks ago and after about 2 days the tinitus was back. Is this symptom common?

Got my booster in November. Since then I have not struck the lottery.

Got 2 red lights in a row after the second dose back in august, but only one red light on the same stretch of road with the half-dosage booster shot the other day.

I had the same vaccination plan, after the 2nd dose I felt like a flu.

A friend of mine volunteered for the Sanofi booster and the titers are remaining constant 6 months later (she had herself tested to verify not the placebo at 1 month and 6 month) after 2x mRNA.

For me eggs, onions and garlic taste off after having the virus.

Hope it sorts itself out for you.

Pfizer and nada after both other than some localized soreness.

Quite a few family and friends are experiencing breakthrough here in Washington State, youngest grandkid got first vaccine and Dxed covid the same day. grrrrrrr

2X Pfizer, Booster was Moderna two weeks ago, All three sore arm and tired for the next day and that's it.
