Indeed interesting. Do you not feel unsafe? And are you traveling to every country in the world? Or what is the purpose of this travel?

Nice work! I had a ten day holiday in Iraq in 2018, bit shabby but great food people and unrivalled history that spans millennia. Highly recommended

Iraq is a wonderful place for the people and the history. The place is rundown as a result of perpetual warfare for the past 20 years. But we are in a time of peace. I never felt unsafe.

The purpose of travel is travelling itself, no? :-)

Very interesting report, many thanks for sharing.
Is it just me or it is safer to walk around Baghdad than walking around the south side of Chicago nowadays?

Well there was a suicide bombing in Baghdad last week, which is becoming increasingly rare. If you measure the number of people dying from suicide bombs in Iraq vs the number of people dying in the US due to mass shootings, the numbers won't lie--even if you adjust for scale.

Indeed. Objective reality vs. subjective reality.

I love videos like this. What I have learn in my years travelling the world is that the media is definetly exaggerated and nothing is like you think. Ever.

Well put. I also posted a 6 minute tuk tuk I rode around Baghdad. You can see the streets and life in the city with your own eyes:
