Your favorite junk food

I'm sitting here watching the Chiefs and Eagles came and having some instant ramen. I know it's not nutritious or healthy, but I like it every now and then. What are some of your favorite junk foods? I like chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cups, cinnamon rolls/donuts. I have a massive sweet tooth.

I favor salty snacks over sweet - right now I am hooked on pretzel Goldfish. They also have a bag that's mixed pretzel and cheddar that I don't buy often because I end up eating the whole thing during the course of a football game.

I'm all about the breakfast. Since McD's in the UK stopped the amazing breakfast wrap (a crime against humanity), it has to be the humble sausage McMuffin meal. (Cappuccino as my drink choice)

And my all time favourite chocolate bar...

(I have quite a thing for coconut)

That was good. Did you guys get the chicken burger with the waffles instead of the bun? We had that one for a short while some years back, really, really liked that one.

Until they bring back the McRib, breakfast is the only reason to go to Mickey D's for me. I usually just get the Sausage McMuffin off the value menu though, the same as a Sausage and Egg McMuffin, minus the egg but half the price.

As far as breakfast sandwiches go, I love the Loaded Breakfast Sandwich from Jack in the Box, cheese, egg, sausage, ham and bacon on grilled sourdough. Drool.

I imagine Bounty is a lot sweeter than Mounds, it appears its made by Hershey's. I've always found Hershey's chocolate to be bitter with an unpleasant aftertaste.

As for me, my junk food of choice is Chicken McNuggets, although lately I find the ones cooked at McDonald's (at least here in Malaysia) to be below par, bland & tasteless. In fact I've now switched to home cooked nuggets made by Tyson Foods which is an exact version of the nuggets they supply to McDonald's, only spicier.

And from time to time, Mentos & M&Ms.

Hershey's chocolate is unpalatable to europeans as we aren't used to eating it. Due to the way it's made (recipe invented for a US military contract) it has a vomit taste.

Same. I don't like Hershey's products. Seems like low quality to me.

Favorite junk food? There's many to choose from, but one of them is a deep pan pizza from Pizza Hut.. unfortunately there's no pizza hut around where I live.. another favorite is a Burger.. cheeseburger, mexican burger, you name it. Both the crappy stuff from Mcdonalds, and the more expensive burgers.

Also love nachos.

A doner kebab, only manage 4 a year but so good, from a greek resturant locally which has been in the same family for over 40 years.

Chili cheese fries or Animal Fries from In-N-Out. Those are extremely rare when I eat them. More often than not, when I want something junk, I will see what limited flavors Tim's Cascade Chips has. My go-to is their Sour Cream and Onion.

I'm pretty easy to please - pastries of any kind. Lots of cream, fruit, etc. Love it.

But that was then and this is now so I've moved to Glucerna BID and have lost a lot of weight. Pastries are still on my mind and the wife and I splurge now and then, but I've gone from 250 to 175 so I cannot complain about the new meal plans!

Here in France what's he's showing is called a "Greek (sandwich)" but the only think "Greek" about it is the pita bread. The doner kebab is usually made from low quality lamb meat, very greasy. Add the fries and the sauce and it's definitely junk food. See the picture I posted.

I gave up fast food back in 2018 as a new year's resolution to myself and it's been going strong since. But every time I pass by a McDonald's I am extremely tempted to buy nuggets and fries; the same with KFC (original recipe just can't be beat).

As for stuff you can find in a convenience store, give me chips and salsa and I'll be happy.

i agree with you about the instant ramen, im fortunate enough to not need to eat it now, but i still like it.....no idea why. i like to cut up some beef, chicken strips, pork strips or even a hot dog and throw that in. im probably wrong in thinking this, but it seems less salty when i drain the liquid out and only eat the noodles.
