Those who are from Canada will remember how just 2-3 years back when Canadian PM Justin Trudeau had visited India, he was rude to him as Justin had talked about how people's democratic rights were enshrined in democracy. He was talking both about India and Canada, but that seemed a snub to Mr. Modi who has never been in favor of rights of people. Our Home Minister Amit Shah is on record saying we have the right to take out even a kidney from people if they need it. This was in context of the privacy laws suit which was GOI against public of India which they lost.

In the last week, our PM finds himself isolated on all counts, and there have been more than enough pictures and media for the same. In the last 7 years, our 'tourist' has made 113 odd foreign trips with not even a single trade deal to show for it. All of this obviously on taxpayer's expense. He even got two new planes when India is going through a recession.

Revenues in Aviation in any country can grow via two routes, either you make it so cheap so you have more and more passengers that creates more demand in all other sectors of the economy including arts, hospitality industry and so on and so forth. But this needs time, vision, policy on which the Govt. has no idea.

When the poster was responding to me, he forgot some other things that even the creator of the video which I had shared had also forgotten. Many of the small airports that have been parceled with other airports for privatization are military airports. What will happen to the military aspect of it is not yet clear. Just like in UK, even in India for the past 7 years, we are looking for the mythical green shoots which has been absent from UK as well. And of course, just like in UK, here also propoganda 24x7 but more through whatsApp. That is the reason why a woman leader from ABVP can claim that India is not fully free and is on 99-year lease from UK and many would believe her. Just like in UK, most Indians haven't developed critical thinking.

What you are seeing above is nothing but sugarcane packed in a plastic container that I got for INR 40/- Roughly 185gm.

RIL, the company is making roughly INR 2,10,000+ per tonne (rough calculation) .

How much is it giving to farmers. It has got all the supply from farmers on credit. The going rate for it is INR 2500/- per tonne which doesn't even cover the expenses of the farmers. I am sure many people on the forum would know that sugarcane is a heavy water crop. Even though drip-irrigation has been used in India, it is expensive (not many farmers can afford it.) and even those who have used it, find that the water requirements are 10 times and more to other crops.

And on top of that, GOI is planning to have more ethanol which will put more pressure on the farmer and the crop.

One of the major reasons of the above runaway inflation has been that has been caused by almost 60% share of petrol, and they have been increasing the prices every day.

The above are quotes by some leaders of the BJP. Allow me to translate -

1. Hardeep singh suri - Petroleum Minister - Petrol is not high because we raised taxes, we only get INR 32/- per litre.

Patently false, they get 60% of the taxes on petrol.

Ironically, both Nepal and Bhutan who buy petrol from India sell petrol in their countries at around INR 50/- per litre and less. Those who live in border areas adjacent to, often go to those countries and get petrol filled to the brim and even bring it in a container or two.

2. Upandra Tiwari, Uttar.Pradesh - Sports Minister - 95% of people of India don't need petrol. Don't think I have to say anything about it except it false. Just the numbers of vehicles by SIAM is enough to counteract it (SIAM - Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers)

3. Bhavesh kalita, BJP leader, Assam - When Petrol reaches INR 200/- Govt. will give decision so that 3 people can ride officially on a two-wheeler. Indian bikes are designed with 2 people in mind. The sad part is that the leader is openly saying that we will raise prices from now INR 120/- per litre to INR 200/- per litre and nobody objects.

And it isn't as if Govt. is giving it to people, it will gie that money only to its corporate friends, who in turn will donate it to them via electoral bonds.
