PA GOP Senate Candidate Out After Personal Problems Get Too Messy

Sean Parnell’s campaign has collapsed in Pennsylvania. A judge has ruled against him in a custody case, citing prior accusations of domestic abuse from Parnell’s estranged wife.

This idiot’s campaign got national attention last month when Parnell made viral comments that womens’ independence is ‘nonsense’ and claimed men protected women from dinosaurs historically. You can’t make this stuff up

Hope for his kids’ sake the personal problems get patched up, but this guy had too much baggage to be a viable Senate candidate.

Medieval mentality.
Hard to believe people like this exist in 2021 (past the obvious regions where this is cultivated).

Well, just because anyone can run for office, doesn't necessarily mean that they should run for office.
As the candidates get more extreme, expect more of this.

I am starting to think that decent candidates avoid running for office.

Fact-free mentality too, since humans and dinosaurs never coexisted

BS, I personally saw a painting of Jesus riding a dinosaur, heck I even saw him cradling a T-Rex.

Well, his modern day messiah garnered a following of 70M grabbing lady vitals, sleeping with hookers while his wife nursed their newborn son and then paying them off using campaign funds. Stands to reason he thought it would all blow over. He certainly wore the correct badge for his world views.

I grew up in a church community in a perfectly modern and populated suburb of Atlanta. I attended a school that taught us that humans and dinosaurs co-existed and that the earth was at most 6,000 years old. These folks are a pillar of GOP support and quite frankly most of them are too narrow minded to turn out for economic or policy related concerns but they can be stirred up with kulturkampf. Both parties pander to stupidity, and this is the GOP's.

I was told by some evangelicals one day that I was going to hell because I didn't believe that God created the world in a literal 7 days.

I consider the 7th day, since rest was required and put off ;)
