The first election I ever participated in, 1996, I cast my vote for Senator Dole for President. I found his personal story remarkable and inspiring.

Bob Dole represented the best in political behavior and will be missed by those who admire individuals of that standard. Obviously Trump is far below that standard.

My aunt worked for Dole when he was governor of Kansas. I never met him but she was proud to have worked for him.

What I was told for decades is she worked in the governors office with Dole. That is exactly how she and our family said it.
