It is a little bit disconcerting that guys 10-20 years older than I are dying of old age. RIP Bob. Listened to a testimonial by Bob about his friend Norm Macdonald. Super sad stuff... they were "brothers."

65 isn't really old age...considerably below life expectancy.
As for dark side, you may remember his 'Aristocrats' bit...hilarious how he kept cracking himself up through the delivery.

This is sad news indeed. I remember how shocked and pleased I was to learn that he was Jedi of Filthy Jokes, I never saw it coming.

The best punchline to him was he was completely different than his "Full House" persona. A few years go I saw him do a "after hours' after hours" stand up routine at a club in NYC with about 150 people or so present and it was one of those classic NY moments "the owner knows him, so he just drops by and does an announced half hour set, etc. etc."
It was 30 minutes of insane pure profanity and downright vivid sexual content and was down right hysterical. It was amazing.

Haha. Thanks. It's funny because when you live in NYC, you always think yo yourself "God, I'd love to have just *one* of those moments you hear about." Then it did. This was in 2015 when he was appearing on Broadway in "Hand to God."

Family has released the coroner's report on cause of death: Bob died in his sleep as a result of head trauma. Drugs and alcohol were not a factor, but he did hit his head on something (or something hit him):

It seems innocuous, but I've heard some people may be at increased risk from even mild head trauma if they had a previous big bang in the same area as a child.

There is always that possibility as well. However, I would think the police would be a bit more through about it. From initial reports, they all thought he died of a heart attack.

Hotels are pretty heavily monitored as all sorts of illegal stuff happens there. While its possible he was murdered, that would be some pretty 007 type stuff.

Could be the same thing that happened to Liam Neeson’s wife. Hit her head by accident and didn’t seek medical attention. Went to sleep.

Head trauma can be a very dangerous thing, as it can seem like nothing more than a headache.
