Tragic day for Australian sport. Rod Marsh also passed away less than 24 hours ago aged 74 from a heart attack as well

Pretty shocking news. One of the all-time greats. Really weird that he posted a tribute to Rod Marsh just a few hours before he himself died. 
I disliked both players when they were playing against England, only because they always seemed to hammer us, but both were very sporting. I can still see Rod Marsh's openly displayed disgust when Greg Chappell made his brother bowl that notorious underarm ball against New Zealand. Warne was always one of the first to congratulate opponents when they'd put in a great performance.
Shocking to lose them both in a matter of hours. I will miss Warne's commentary, but not those awful hair transplant ads.

Never followed cricket but I knew him for hooking up with Liz Hurley whom I had a huge crush on. However my Indian roommates in college couldn't stop talking about him. A criminally young age to die from a heart attack. However, I don't want to assume, but other "issues" were probably involved.

2 Aussie Cricket greats gone in as many days. Will be strange watching cricket next summer without Warnie on commentary, people knew Rod Marsh wasn't well, but Warnie was totally unexpected.
Tributes from one of the Melbourne papers, interesting how many are from people who bumped into him when out & about. The story of him playing at a golf pro-am & making sure his caddy had packed his smokes & cans of Coke is true to form!

I haven’t really paid much attention to cricket this century, but Warnie was a legend.
I love the tribute under his statue at the MCG, a VB, a pie and pack of gaspers!
(Or a can of Victoria Bitter beer, a meat pie and a packet of cigarettes for those playing outside Oz

An amazing bowler with a fantastic cricket brain. Certainly for mine the greatest spin bowler of all time and part of the greatest test team of any era, he played a massive part in that. He tormented NZ enough that is for sure.
He led a high profile life off the field, certainly an interesting character who was very competitive on and off the field. Sadly gone way to soon.

It is a sad loss for the cricketing world to see both Rod Marsh and Shane Warne die.
Shane Warne gone to soon. RIP the legend.
He was not only a great 'Leg Spinner' but was also a 'Great Captain'. I can't forget the way he led 'Rajasthan Royals' team to win the 1st Indian Premier League T20 tournament in 2008.
