This is also what happens when oil companies lay off hundreds of thousands during the pandemic to maintain profitability and don’t have a system in place to rehire at scale when demand returns.

Where can you find bottled water that's over 2€ per liter? Except maybe a Perrier at a bar's terrace or at a restaurant, where you pay more for the service than for the product itself?
