Awesome day, I’ll never forget the time I was heading out for a mountain bike race, With a early morning stop at Krispy Kremes, ordered a half dozen glazed and a Diet Coke. The drive thru teller just looked and me then spoke with her serious southern accent…. Sir you trying to be funny?

These sorts of things always seem to sneak up on me. Wish there was Krispy Kreme around here; I'd get that, for sure.

According to my Untappd app, it was National Cider Day yesterday, too.

A day to encourage everyone to acquire diabetes, cardiac disease, vascular problems and all manner of health issues so as to die 10 or 20 years early
What a wonderful idea

LOL. As a staunch low carber, even the sight of donuts and sweets makes me sick. I never had much of a sweet tooth anyway

Seems a tad bit of an overreaction.

I'm fortunate to live 20 minutes away from the only Krispy Kreme located west of Ontario, every once in a while I'll indulge in a fritter or two.
There are a lot of local donut shops that are really, really, really, good. Duffin's is amazing, they make a real mean torta sub as well.

You shouldn't go to parties, they encourage everyone in behaviour to cause all manner of health issues to die 10 or 20 years early.

Or a day to enjoy a nice treat which taken in moderation is perfectly fine.
