If this isn't grounds for the GOP dropping him, I don't know what is.
Who am I kidding, he got away with grabbing female genitalia and will likely get away with having dinner with white supremacists.

I doubt it. I bet he could still get 70M Republicans to vote against the Constitution. He's the face and standard bearer of the GOP and they want to dismantle our country and it's guiding principles. They go on and on about Dems and socialism but it's just a distraction around their true mission. It's installing Trump as a dictator backed by White Supremacist militias. The vast majority of Republicans would happily vote for this. My proof is the 2020 election.

I agree “the base” will likely be unphased. But it’s not the base that the ads would be targeted to. It’s the extra 10% of nose holders that both party needs to get across the finish line, thats who’ll be bombarded with ads.

Weird isn't it, in the US these people sit to the right, in the UK they sit on the left, or at least the Labor party does.

What? A few weirdos around the former leader, who does not even have the party whip now, due to his refusal to accept a report about said few weirdos. Who is also unlikely to be the candidate in his own seat next time. And guess where the few weirdos have gone? Who knows, they are not around as they have either left or been thrown out.
They were idiots as they conflated opposition to the policies of the (very right wing) Israeli government with being unpleasant to the party’s many Jewish activists and MP’s, if you knew what you are were taking about, you might have even found out as with the US, the center left in the UK have a large Jewish following
Do try to keep up, news from 5 years go? And you spelt the name of the party wrong.
Most anti Semitic idiots are on the far right, just like everywhere else, so what the latest point you are trying to make eludes me.
This is about Trump, you might as well argue that the Democratic Party have the anti Semitic types, maybe you will yet.....

Stay on topic.
The Republican party has been trying to get rid of the Constitution for years all while insisting Democrats are. No Democrat has called for suspending the Constitution. It is always Republicans. Republicans are outraged over something and blame Democrats but Republicans are actually doing the thing they accuse Democrats of doing. Taking guns, voter suppression, lowering wages, taking health care, racism, anti-Semitism.... the list goes on.
When someone tells you who they are, believe them. Republicans hate the rule of law, democracy, working people, families, life and the Constitution. They have been very clear about this over the past 20 years.

The constitution is an old document, some parts are long by there use-by dates whilst other are still valid, it's probably time for a constitutional convention to update and modernise the document for the times you live in today, not the time when the majority of it was written, its supposed to be a living document, the 27th was the last amendment in 1992, it's laughable that it took 202 years to be ratified

I don't think they have the logical reasoning centers to realize this.

... calling Trump a man.

I agree with the first part but one thing to understand is that 70M Americans voted for a Boat-faced Orange Clown Posse...TWICE! They were genuinely ecstatic at turning the country into a trash can, something like a WWF Wrestlemania spectacle of fakery and basement-level entertainment quality. The entire Republican party was goose-stepping to Trump's beat and they'd happily do it again. Look at their response to Trump's demand that we light fire to the Constitution. Fox News is whining in its articles that Trump is only referring to "certain parts" of it. Can you imagine the depravity and near total lack of intelligence is takes to buy into this kind of crap? I used to think it was impossible and yet there they are, 70M of them.

These are his words exactly as written:
“Do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION? A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution,”
Taken from thousands upon thousands of news sources and forever captured as written fact. I highlighted in bold for you the second sentence. He writes "A massive fraud (a factual and proven lie)...etc etc allows for the termination of ALL rules..articles etc etc..even those found in the Constitution". Tell me at what grade level I need to break this down grammatically so that it becomes even clearer than it already is or has to be. Trump is calling for the destruction of the Constitution and his installment as as Supreme Clown Dictator of something that would not be the United States.
But tell us how you interpret the words. Perhaps a comma or some other perceived innuendo makes it all super cool and vote-worthy to the 70M..??

People talk about him and it gets his base and his "enemies" riled up. It boosts his ego, too. He can sit back and crow at his underlings about "look how everyone loves me because they are talking about me so much!"

The real down and outers in the US aren't Trump fans.
What these people really need is a two year vacation in someplace like Ethiopia; give em some perspective.

I just want to grab some high ranking republican, shake him and say "wake the hell up!!" Every time I think they'll finally say they've had enough of this clown, they throw their support behind him again.
Someone on the right PLEASE step up and put an end to this con man's political ambitions....
Dutchy wrote:Trump said if he shoots someone at Time Square, people still vote for him, and he was right. The people supporting him are the ones who were left behind in society and they do not care anymore. You saw the same with Brexit or with any populist movement. They do not care if and what kind of damage or hardship the country will go through once these kinds of people are in office, because they are already at the bottom. And unfortunately, there are enough people in this group to tip the scale.
For society at large, we need to get those people back engaged and give them a leg up again to move forward as a society as a nation.
