Men - what kind of underwear do you wear?

This question is for the gentlemen on this forum. What kind of underwear do you wear on a daily basis?

I myself am a 100% briefs man - I wear the classic “tighty whities” about 75% of the time and I wear colored briefs and bikini briefs the rest of the time. I have been almost exclusively wearing briefs for the last seven years.

For reference, I’m 34 from the USA.

Same as you actually! Was wearing boxer briefs, but got back into the TW game. Enjoy the classics for sure! In my 30s as well from the USA!

Agreed! After having hernia surgery - twice - my doctor assured me that briefs were much better (i.e., supportive) for the important parts. I am sold on "32 degrees Cool" briefs.

I wear 32 Degrees Cool shirts and I’m a fan! Didn’t know they made undies, I just checked out their website.

For the most part, bikini style briefs - keeps the meat and veg nice and snug. On date nights though, boxers - most women I've dated appreciated the easy access, especially in the car or in other places of questionable locations.

For reference, older than most of you and in Canada.

In all seriousness, almost anything EXCEPT boxers. Dangly bits dangling with no support I find so uncomfortable and sweaty. Also very easy to "trap a bollock" when rearranging yourself on a chair.

It depends on the breadth of bits one has. The more expansive the bits, the more supportive the outfits. Women have the same issue.

Besides, try jogging without support. Quickest way to lose sperm count.

To answer the OP, boxer briefs exclusively, and by his account, no longer a younger guy. Turned 40 two weeks ago. :old:

Boxer briefs. High level of support + helps with keeping the thighs from rubbing together and causing chaffing. I walk around all day long, and having to gown up to go in certain rooms, there’s always a bit of dampness developing.

Lol yep. I also have hyperhydosis so damp dangly bits don't do much for hygiene.

They get their 8 hours of freedom each day when I'm sleeping. Fortunately for me, so far, they've always returned by the time I wake up.

I’m glad you went with your gut feeling, tried briefs again, and never went back! You really can’t go wrong with classics. I’m personally not a fan of Hanes; the fit doesn’t agree with me. I much prefer Fruits. My other brands of choice are Jockey, Calvin Klein and Stafford (JCPenney’s in house brand).

I actually need to go shopping. My Nevada wardrobe is lacking behind my NY one. I have a hodge podge of briefs and boxers. I usually prefer briefs but I am liking boxers a little more recently.

I wear Hanes white jockeys. I used to work a job that required me to wear white trousers. Colored underwear could show through and, although I never experienced it personally, plenty of coworkers did. I no longer work in that line of work, but old habits die hard. I can't stand boxers due to the tendency for material to bunch up around the legs. And I simply find boxer briefs to be sweaty and made with more material than necessary.

I tried Fruit of the Loom jockey shorts once, but wasn't impressed with the quality. The leg openings were too loose and my gunk kept falling out.

100 percent cotton, no exceptions. The fact that I have to read underwear labels now is ridiculous. Raise your price fifty cents and phase out your microfiber AKA polyester/synthetics and "blend".

Hey guys,
I have all kinds in my undies drawer.
Most popular brand is Calvin Klein, mainly briefs and prefer the micro fibre ones for their ability to quickly dry when away.
Also have the ubiquitous (for Aussies like me) Bonds trunks and a couple of pairs of Auusiebums.
Prefer brightly coloured and patterned ones but about half of mine are black or white!
Also have a couple of pairs of Speedos… but I guess that’s a whole new thread lol!

I was "tighty-whities" until high school when I switched to boxers, which were popular. As a medical resident, a boyfriend of mine introduced me to the beautiful world of high-end briefs and boxer-briefs, such as those made by Calvin Klein, which are ridiculously comfortable (and more able to contain things when they start to change) and I was a convert.

Boxer briefs basically since they became popular when I was a teenager in the 90s. For decades, my favorite brand was the classic Calvin Klein. Even after Waranco and PVH downgraded the quality of some of their stuff, the mens underwear stayed great. I also had some good ones from H&M I bought, and I still have these two emergency pairs of a no name brand I bought in Amman, when TK lost my bag.

That said, another misconnected bag experience got me into my new brand. Got to EDI with no bag. Went to Harvey Nichols and bought some clothes and 2 pairs of Bjorn Borg boxer briefs, which I'd heard were excellent for years.

I was a convert. I order those online now, as they are hard to find in stores in the US.

Which is what I do every day. Work, then workout.

On days I don't workout, I wear Express trunks or other brands.

In STL there used to be an underwear store for men and I ran across the Obviously brand, with their "anatomically correct pouch". A little too loose for my liking, but compared to regular underwear, it was quite liberating (commando without being commando). If you're gifted down there, it becomes a problem if you get hard because nothing restraints it (but it's also a blessing if you're just in undies and want to show off).

I have some old Calvin Kleins that have the ‘pouch’ feature.
Haven’t heard of ‘Obviously’ before: they haven’t made it Downunder (lol I couldn’t resist) yet!
I have never heard of an ‘underwear store for men’ before but I guess there would be one somewhere in Sydney, my nearest major city!
