Here we go again, Shane Osborne, 45, was charged with neglect after neighbours reported a child in a hallway carrying what they believed to be a handgun, police said.

Mr Osborne initially told police there were no weapons in the house, claiming to have been been feeling ill all day and sleeping, Beech Grove Police told the BBC.

he has the right to bear arms, the second amendment is an unlimited right, right?

You must surely start the training early otherwise he will not be prepared to be part of a well regulated militia.

There's no mention of age anywhere in the second amendment. This young citizen was fully within his constitutional right and his father would have been denying him such by restricting his access to a weapon.

That said, I'd be curious to hear from the 2nd amendment absolutists why a minor shouldn't have a gun. Is this kid not part of 'The People'?

We all know that, but, SOME of us do not want to acknowledge that. SOME of us want to separate White hetero "christian" people to be treated better. We need to call this out. That is always good nuance to make and even more important to realize. To generalize this, a bit further: America is quite liberal, in the east and west coast and along the border with Canada. The innerstates and Alaske seems to be ultra conservative.
