I love flowers
I love flowers. Do you love flowers? What are your favorite flowers, mine are the tulips like you see in pictures from Amsterdam. Do you have allergies to flowers?

I do a little planting each spring and have roses that were here when I bought the place. I've managed not to kill them in the 22 years I've ben here. Annuals I plant are begonias (they never stop blooming until first frost), marigolds, geraniums and my favorite, dahlias. Yeah, dahlias can be saved if you take them up and store them somewhere relatively warm then stick them back in the ground next spring, but I just get new ones

With my tulips I just wished they’d last a little longer bloom wise. We put in boxes under our front windows last year. Really like the annuals there with some hanging vines with them.

I got more into plants during covid. Lilies are easy to grow… good starter plant. I had one overgrown hibiscus plant in a pot that I divided and pruned into two clone hibiscus plants. It was kind of like dolly the sheep.

Never gave flowers much thought unitl recently I saw a bunch of Asiatic lilies in the floral department at my local grocery store. Really beautiful. Google searched other lillies and saw several Voodo lily varieties. Neat flowers!

I have a minor obsession with lilies of all sorts and try to have fresh cut ones at my place constantly
