Can anyone speculate how aware the airline industry as a whole is of this site?

Here's one example:

I was in a meeting with a lawyer for Delta
last month, and I was stunned when he mentioned
that their management reads the airliners.net
forums regularly.

10,000+ members out of a global population of +/- 6 billion isn't so bad, is it?

The 10000 members are just registered members of the forums, many of whom haven't posted for several years. OTOH, there are loads of people who visit this site to see photos and read the forums without being a member of the forums.

I heard that *CLASSIFIED AIRLINES* CEO would visit the forums to see what everybody thought about the industry, and many of the decisions would be based on what people thought, and that is why his airline is so successful today. I will not disclose who unless that person gives me permission to post their name.

I regularly receive emails from airline representatives to add their company to the dropdown list. When they pay me enough I normally consider it  Smokin cool (I'm dreaming again).
