The thread was active until March 12 at 02:00 GMT (when the last post was made), but as of 03:00 GMT, I and others cannot find the original thread. Has it been deleted or moved to another forum? This incident represents a significant change to the Canadian aviation industry as well as for numerous employees and travellers alike. By removing it less than 24 hours after it was created appears to be a bit premature, in my opinion, especially since it was still receiving many comments which related directly to the topic.

Well, I'll give the mods the benefit of the doubt until someone actually answers.
But I was reading the thread just before it was deleted and I couldn't imagine there was anything so crazy posted there that it warranted deletion. Maybe some of the posts were a little heated, but I think everyone was well behaved considering the circumstances! We wouldn't be on this site if we weren't passionate about commercial aviation.

Everyone just bear with me for a bit, the original thread may have been deleted by accident. I'm looking into the matter now and will post an update once I've sifted through the mass of moderator e-mails for info pertaining to this.
