Anet Crewmember Pictures
At different companies, it seems to be a practice to have a short description of each crewmember, accompanied by a picture of said crewmember. I'm wondering if there's any possibility of having such a display here - perhaps under the Community link at the upper right. We could have a face to put with a name for each person that makes this place tick.

Its a good idea, perhaps what might be better is an area for short introductions from the crew, and where they can include a picture if they so wish. Perhaps more people would be happy with that...

Admit it, boss, you've got three heads and five noses.
Maybe someone who is good with a pen could draw some caricatures? These are quite popular on some websites for providing realistic images of crew without using actual photographs. Anyway, I don't mind either way.

I dont think that will work with 'voluntary' crew-members, many of which, because of their position, might prefer some level anonymity and I can only agree with that.

Quite true though, if i had to as a volunteer, I'd provide a picture of my username as my crew member picture. No problems posting now though.

I would say that any of the crewmembers can do just what you describe with their user profiles.
I'd take the awe of understanding over the awe of ignorance any day.

Some companies do a great job of showcasing the personality of employees. One great example is a Cincinnati newspaper called Cin Weekly. They have a Staff Question of the Week that I've always found pretty entertaining. While certainly not a necessary feature of their site, it adds a fun twist and adds personality to the site.

Ah yes, a classic......
Some of us have our mugs plastered in some threads in Non-Av. I know there's a few of myself from a few A.net Meets and at least one self-pic thread. KROC's mug is definitely around and has also been the target of humorous Photoshopping, even by fellow crew members.
There are two members of the Moderator staff in this oldie but a goodie from over 4 years back
Some of us have our mugs plastered in some threads in Non-Av. I know there's a few of myself from a few A.net Meets and at least one self-pic thread. KROC's mug is definitely around and has also been the target of humorous Photoshopping, even by fellow crew members.

Classic pic. I still have that saved on my pc just in case we need a photoshop job.
Many of the mods post their pics in the self pic threads, take a look at some of the archive threads.
