That was fast. Better now, than later. Now they can add volunteer experience on their resume. That's a plus.

Welcome aboard, guys!

Remember, although you're welcome to charter the company Gulfstreams, priority must be given to more senior crew members. In tne event that they are all in use, you'll have to use the '59 Aztec.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! I'm really looking forward to working with the other (old and new) crew members... and don't worry, I won't use the company Gulfstreams more than once a week or so  Wink

Thanks a lot guys for all your warm welcome wishes ... seems like I'm the veteran here with 9+ years experience at A.net (though I'm only heading straight for 28).

It's great to have the honour to join the A.net crew ranks and I'm proud of being considered. We new 5 will do all our best to turn this site even more into a respectable, professional forum that both we and the industry can be proud of.

The first days will be tough and it just feels like the first days in school with so much to learn, know and getting used to, we ere each assigned a Mentore and will hopefully fully join the ranks within the next days.

Best regards

Mario

Good luck to the new guys and enjoy your time as an A.net moderator, it is fun and can take a bit of time.

Let me just echo what Bevan says here - congrats to all the new mods and good luck! Be just and fair and half the battle has been won already, above all though, have fun - it was certainly one of the more entertaining times of my life. Also, congrats to Mario on becoming the "old man" of the group and to Steven and Padraic on being elevated to head mod status.

Alright, so when does the hazing start on the newbies and do ex-mods get to "help out?"  duck

A big warm thanks to all of you for your warm welcome.

As the other new mods have said, I look forward to working with the new and old mods, and helping keep this site such a great place and ensure it continues as such a great community.

So 2H4, can I charter the company Gulfstream for a round the world ticket to celebrate this event?? With of course abundant caviar, champagne and pretty F/A's for when I'm not moderating from my... whoops, meant, "our" Gulfstream?

Happy posting to all!

Toulouse.

I am sure they would give the OK, sadly I hear they still have the 60 day waiting period before granting full access to the free beer machine in the mod clubhouse.

Good luck to all
