Replying To A Thread; Problems With Text Editing

Wed Mar 31, 2010 9:31 pm

While replying in some threads, I've found that the text box to write a reply is filled with a mixture of a draft that I saved earlier, text written by other users, as well as quotations that I didn't make. It happens from time to time (some days are worse than others) but it can become painstaking to sift through what I did write and what I didn't write. Is there a workaround to this problem?

Regards

indeed:

This was a thread I was reading. At the bottom, I noted that the last post was entered into my reply box.

As this one references, I started a completely new thread, but it pre-loaded a saved response from months prior. Maybe from the last site save, but I do know that I had responded to and had saved many messages in that forum since that referenced response.

The only time I see other people's drafts in my text box is when I am NOT logged in.

Quoting Jetmatt777 (Reply 2):

Ok, after some experimenting, I've seen it happen only when I'm logged out.

I have had occurrences both when I was logged-in and logged out with another person's reply in the posting box. It happens very frequently when I am logged out, when I am logged-in it is rare but still happens.
