Airliners.net

Hello All,

I am one of the many have recently become hooked on Instagram. I find it a wonderful way to create some fantastic photos and have been very surprised and pleased with a few of the shots I have managed to sneak in.

I was wondering what would everyones thoughts, good, or bad, on the idea of airliners.net having a separate section for airliner/aircraft instagram photography? It's a new medium of photography that I think warrants a little bit of thought. I put this to admin to kick this idea around. It would be a new and refreshing way to explore and bring the best of airliners to the people that love them best...

Could this be possible?

I hear yah mate... That did cross my mind, but I was hoping that the a.net site could feature this new photography medium and encourage its excellence.. There is some really good instagram work out there and with a.net presenting the best in photographs, I could see an opportunity to embrace this new form of photography on a.net as well..

No offense to the OP as this is a general complaint, but taking a cell phone snap shot and deep frying it in a batter of over-the-top filters does not make you creative, in my opinion.

   Instigram makes people think they're just professionals at making things look cool. It's a fad. I hope it goes away soon because it annoys me to death. (me, being a photographer who prefers unedited, natural shots"
